Great and miserable at the same time. Great because I was pretty well-liked, somewhat popular, and was Prom King. Miserable because it was a Catholic high school, prayed 5 times a day, and came out my Junior year as a gay man despite the somewhat mixed, but not horrible response.

High school was simple for me. It helped that I knew everyone from elementary, middle and high school thanks to the feeder pattern. We all got along for the most part. I was in the IGSCE program (which I guess would be my "clique" but we were all knew each other well enough that the notion didn't really exist), but I was so lazy. Graduated in the top percentage of my class, but that's because the Cambridge program taught us one thing: how to ******** our way through classes, lol. Glad I got a lot of college credit thanks to the program though.

Best time had to be senior year, because that's when we all got really close and the summer after high school, those three months we spent together before college had to be the best summer ever. Debauchery all around.

Want to add that being gay was not an issue for me in high school at all. My friends would say I was the "first person to come out as gay" (and had people message me years later on FB how my personality and attitude towards life and being gay helped them come out). Never got bullied or teased about it, not even in years prior to my coming out.

So far, it's been a roller coaster. Only 9 more months

Absolutely terrible. Unpopular, no friends at all, no dating, didn't go to prom because nobody asked, etc. It's not like that anymore though, so I guess I just went to school with a bunch of jerks

It was everything. Besides all the fights I was in, it was perfect.

Horrible!

It was absolute hell. I had racist teachers and backstabbing friends which made my grades suffer the first two years. Now that I've graduated, I look back at it and I can honestly say that I hated high school and all of my teachers and classmates

Rough and smooth. Grades never an issue. I came out at 14 and got a lot of **** for it, but it's a good learning experience.

High school is completely irrelevant to adult life. High school ATRLers, do not give a **** and be the flawless queen/king you are.

Noone hated me and noone bullied me, so overall it was fine

However, I was an extremely good student in a school where everybody else happened to be horrible at almost every subject, so I was laying considerably low and I never tried to fit in.

I'm still in high school but so far it's good!

I'll be going into 11th grade in a week, taking high school and college classes to earn credit faster so I'm kinda scared. I've had a 4.0 for the past 3 years and I'm hoping to keep that up. Personally, I'm well-liked by almost everyone and I usually end up leading things which is cool but I wish I was closer to people instead of being that guy that no one dislikes and tend to forget about. I haven't really dated anyone so my personal relationships are at a minimal level.

Considering middle school was living hell, high school was actually really good. I made a good group of friends and branched out and made a new name for myself. In middle school I was kinda nerdy but I completely threw that all away in high school and made a name for myself. I joined the swim team and choir my freshman year (in my school choir people are cool I don't get it but I like it). By my junior year I was the best swimmer in my class and the most accomplished singer in my class.
Now Im just about to start my senior year, and since I progressed so far my junior year I can't really go any further and I just want to be done, especially since Im already 18. I'm meeting with my counselor tomorrow about graduating in December and then going to college.

I miss it soooo much!!

I was a terrific student, got straight A's with the occasional B. I was shy and never misbehaved, I just put my head down and got on with the work. I was unpopular and got harassed quite a lot. How different things would be if I was at school now I'm a lot more confident now and I certainly wouldn't have put up with the **** I did from fellow students. I'd be clocking left and right.

The only real problem I had was with the principal and the dean of students. I went to a private school and they had a strict no gel or hair product policy. I never paid any attention to it. I styled my hair everyday and it was sprayed within an inch of its life, I refused to go without product in my hair. I was called into the office many times, but because I was such a good student they couldn't do a thing about it. On my last day I bought the entire office staff and everyone of my teachers a can of hairspray, they all thought it was hilarious I also got in trouble for never wearing my hat, but there's no way I was ruining my hair.

I'm not finished with high school yet -- going into my Senior year soon... but so far it's been absolute hell, until a year ago when I came out. Suddenly I became very popular as everyone is apparently thirsty as **** for a GBF, so now life is pretty awesome tbh

High School for me was a great experience. Freshman year was a little tough as I went from being in private schools to a private one but I think that's what made my experience so fun. Freshman year I only had one good friend who actually went on to become my boyfriend months later. Sophomore year was when the fun began as I made more friends and got involved in school activities. I played Football until I injured my back in a car accident but I manage to still play softball and golf. The out of town trips were the best part of my High School experience. The worse part of my high school experience was the drama and sneaking around with my boyfriend trying not to get caught but over all it was a great time and if I could go back and do it again I probably would.
