I personally agree with them. What "feminism" has become today is shameful and disgusting. It's all about making men feel like perverts for being even the slightest bit friendly or chivalrous, and focuses too much on issues in America that aren't as big as they make them out to be when there are real issues going on in other countries where women don't have it as good as they do in the western world that they don't care about.
obviously, there are some 'feminists' within the movement who have radical views (like the idea that being a stay at home mom cannot be just as fulfilling as a full time career) that i disagree with. but the actual definition of feminism has nothing to do with what those women are saying. its just the desire for economic/social/political equality of the sexes. vast majority of western people are feminists even if they dont define themselves as such. its actually funny to me that feminist is such a big term- is there a word for people that arent racist?

So you believe that because you are a woman that you should be denied a job opportunity, be paid less, and not have human rights? Just because the rest of the world doesn't?
The feminist movement has been under attack by female-hating conservatives for decades now. They take the most egregious examples of feminism and use them as a way to paint the entire movement as some kind of anti-man, feminazi BS, which is not at all what it's about. These women need feminism because they've fallen victim to the patriarchy's brainwashing. They reek of "special snowflake" syndrome.
Truth is, most feminist simply want gender equality. When it comes to being a stay-at-home mother, feminists don't care about that. They don't like the fact that being a stay-at-home mother is something the patriarchy has used to keep women subservient, but they're not going to go against that if it's what a woman wants to do.
I find it funny that these women don't seem to realize without feminism they would not be allowed to voice their opinions like this. Just because there are a few radicals in the feminism movement, that doesn't mean the entire movement is bad and if you believe that then you're just plain ignorant. Feminism is about helping women everywhere and clearly in parts of the world women are not treated equally and still need help.

The people who completely dismiss and attack feminism because of what they read on freakin Tumblr are just as bad as the feminists who take things too far by trying to make "stare rape" happen. Neither groups are the brightest crayons in the box.
