i guess that explains why you don't need feminism in ur version of the world

I technically don't NEED feminism at all since I'm a man...

I don't discount what feminists have done for women in the past, but the modern application of it by western women about issues that are (mostly) insignificant ("rape culture" where the most ridiculous things are considered on par with something very serious like rape, for example) is really stupid.

This is true though.

You are being self-fish if you don't think you need feminism at all. What if your father left your dad and you mom had no education, and was working minimum wage. And they decided to reduce her pay just because she was a woman. You don't need feminism, but I'm sure your mother, sisters, and your future daughter will.

They would've been right if feminism was what those stupid tumblr teenagers represent. But it's not, so they're wrong.

I agree with a bit of it, mostly the first one.

I acknowledge women are not equal to men in some aspects and that true feminism (equality for both genders) is needed, however a lot of today's feminism is directed towards misused information and things that don't need feminism.

A lot of the "facts" modern feminists like to throw around in first world countries (Women are more likely to be raped, women are more likely to b attacked, the wage gap, etc) just aren't true. And then you have them focusing on "issues" like how they were called a **** for dressing like a ****.

I just think first world women aren't oppressed to the point where they should stop focusing on women being stoned, burned with acid and fire, not being allowed to get an education, etc, and continue fighting to see how much of their body they can show.

And from the first post alone, it looks like these women feel that rejecting feminism gives them an excuse for sleeping with a bunch of men. Do whatever you want. If you want to sleep around, more power to you, but don't blame society (some of which may be feminists) for s***-shaming you. You know the world we live in, right now, there's no need for the naïveté. So, rejecting the idea of feminism because of your own life choices will always make you look dumb as rocks.

Feminism is about the advocacy of women's rights and equality to men. It's nothing more than that and nothing will ever derogate its meaning. You have been deluded/misled.

I think all things that ends in -ism (of course excluding stuff like prism ) are negative because they take it to the extreme.

Is she trying to be creative or something with writing stuff on some paper, a bit of color, a line here and there.. and let's not talk about those stickers. and what's that pose? Couldn't she find a better way to spread her message? I really don't understand those tumblr posts with papers, like how does that help your message, it looks dumb

Ugh and let's not talk about her message, it's so ironic cause she's trying to sound clever by calling out modern western feminism (which can be quite problematic) but she's actually only conforming to it with her arguments
