But the Moto E has 1GB of RAM... and that's just using basic Android. Once you load crap like Touchwiz and Sense, it becomes an unoptimized mess. Apple only removes features from older phones so that customers will buy a newer one
And I don't pay my phone bill... I didn't even pay for my 5s. I literally couldn't care less.
But it doesn't change the fact that KitKat can run smoothly, full featured on low end devices without any trouble. Can't say that about iOS.

Actually the iPhone 5 sold 90 million+ and the Galaxy S4 sold 40 million+.
Samsung make most of it's sales from budget smartphones.
