We don't have to watch TV to see music videos anymore, and MTV isn't a major network so no major stars are gonna get booked to perform live on it that often. A live music performance show/American Bandstand 2.0 on a major network might work, but no, TRL looks like it's done.

The teen pop boom was caused because of TRL.
Labels tryed to keep TRL on the air in 2008
when mtv canceled it. Good thing we got TRL
back and huge turn out the other night. It just shows
ppl still care. If we didnt care then why would there be thousands
of ppl outside of the TRL studios still.
