Remember back in February when Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner were accosted by a guy in blackface at the Vienna Ball? Not cool, right? Well, they caught the entire incident on camera, and it's not pretty.
The latest episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," airing on June 29, shows exactly how the reality stars reacted when "comedian" Chris Stephan, showed up in blackface makeup, mimicking Kardashian's then-fiancé, now-husband Kanye West.
Kardashian didn't comment on the incident at the time, but she told the camera, "I can't believe there's this guy in full blackface. I just am so confused. I don't get why him or anyone else would find this funny."
This is DISGUSTING, and this is something every member on here should see because the majority of them are ignorant towards it, stanning for someone who's done blackface TWICE in a row and we all know who I'm talking about, solely because he's good looking.
Anyways, I'm glad Kris + the editors took the time to educate viewers on why blackface isn't okay and is extremely disgusting and revolting. The nerve of people to say blackface isn't racist.. just.. I can't. Poor Kim.
And this event looks so nice, how and who let him in? Wtf?: biblio:

Yeah, i really liked how the editors gave a back story on it and showed why it is completely WRONG.
The guy probably arrived into the party without the makeup, applied it on once he was inside.
How many times does it need to be said that blackface being taboo is an America-specific cultural phenomenon? It's rooted in America's culture. It's rooted in American theatre, America's minstrel shows, and ultimately America's civil rights movement. "Blackface = racist" is not a global viewpoint - in many places, it's just some fool with black paint on their face.
I feel like a lot of these times when somebody encounters (and is offended by blackface), it's by an American while they're taking part in somebody else's culture - a culture where blackface isn't viewed in the same light as America's. You cannot expect America-specific cultural rules to hold any water when you aren't in America.
Sometimes you just have to roll with it - there are a lot of things that America does that other countries view as strange or disrespectful, too.
Not to say this guy wasn't out of line - it was just plain weird and unfunny. But to try to force your cultural rules upon others while you're in theirs is just as rude.

Girl, please It is everyone's responsibility to be respectful of other cultures. I'm not sure of the history of blackface in Vienna, however I am familiar with it's history in America and approaching an American (who is married to a black man) in blackface is nothing but ignorant and disrespectful.
