What's going to happen with 'Boomerang', Nicole?
"It's just going to remain a stand-alone single. In fact I did an entire album that belongs with 'Boomerang'. It had its own family. Unfortunately I don't know if those songs will ever be heard, but that's just part of it. I have probably five albums, and I wonder if the songs will ever see the light of day. Maybe one day I'll just release songs for my fans? I don't want to confuse people. You have to be in the moment, and we're going with the sound that is right now - fresh and new to us."
If she stopped scrapping the whole album after the lead single fails to go top 5 maybe she would have more albums released and less unreleased material.
Since HNIN got scrapped, I always felt something fishy and it never stopped. Nicole also played a role in this big time. Nicole worked on so many albums and other material under Interscope, that Nicole must have invested also her own money in her projects. I doubt any label is gonna invest that much in those top notch writers and producers she worked with over the years, and just see the material shelved.
Such a shame, I love the material she actually has released
So now she has the Her Name Is Nicole scrapped material (whatever that wasn't shifted onto Doll Domination), the songs that were intended for the US re-release of Killer Love and the Boomerang family, along with whatever else we don't even know exists
