You can't see what's wrong with putting a nine year old in a car with a stranger? And the fact that she didn't even drop the child off herself to check this person out?
If you cannot assure that you're child is being transported in a safe way, with a trusted adult, then maybe they just don't need to go.
She had no car and just wanted her kid to be able to get to his grandparents.
