Timberlake has been quite the punching bag for having airplay-driven top ten hits lately (Mirrors, Not A Bad Thing; although the former was less driven by airplay). Many other airplay-driven songs of the past year seem to have gotten passes for various reasons.

The question is to address why JT heat/hate/etc. for his hits much more than other artists. Discuss and be nice.

There were many melt-downs about One More Night blocking Gangnam Style (even though that song sold very well too), but I don't remember much fuss about their later two singles which were heavily airplay fueled.

Because he's a successful pop male and pop girl stans seem to hate that for some bizarre reason. Like you aren't allowed to have a successful, consistent career in mainstream music unless you have a vagina.

I can mostly agree with this.

Considering the amount (or lack) of promo for NABT and the lackluster "video," it's understandable as to why it performed poor in digital sales. It's some common misbelief on ATRL that sales must match airplay.
