So I'm trying to find a new computer to buy but I don't want a MAC cause ain't nobody got time to spend that much money. Yeah they are good computers but they are too expensive for me. So I was wondering if you guys could help me find other computers/ computer companies that are good.

ASUS .... ONLY.

Toshiba's are great as well, because they really focus on solid long lasting products, HOWEVER, they are not up to date on current designs trends. So your laptop will look like something out
of 2008.


Go Asus.

Mac is definitely worth the investment. You'll buy 2 or 3 PCs for every 1 Mac you'll buy.

If not, ASUS.

Whatever you do, do not buy a Sony Laptop and avoid HP if you can, they use too much plastic in their lower end models. They are not very long lasting.

Try not to buy from companies that ship too many products other than computers. Like Sony, Samsung, etc.

This is coming from a person that replaces his laptop every year. My ASUS is the only laptop that I decided to keep longer than that.

I'm leaning towards asus now but I read that the sound quality isn't that great. Is that true?

The hardware inside is much more relevant than the brand itself
Every machine is a different combination, even when it has the same chassis outside
You have to compare the CPU and graphics card, the rest is less relevant

I give preference for brands like Asus and Toshiba in terms of the material quality of the chassis

This was my laptop in 2012. Seriously, the sound was great it had two stereo speakers at the front and the keyboard was super high quality and waterproof. So good. Also had a fingerprint scanner for easy logon.

However I'm sure their newer laptops look a bit more current. But the quality is brilliant.

Personally though, the speakers on a Mac are the best our as well as the keyboard. If you hate MacOS, just install Windows and make it the default OS. The sound quality is amazing, the screens are great and the speed is awesome.
