Hey guys so I just got an iPhone 5C and absolutely do not wanna damage my battery. So just a few questions for an iPhone 5C users or any iPhone users.

Is it true that using your iPhone while charging it will damage your battery? Also, what are some other ways for your phone to not go down so fast?

no. that's only applicable for old types of batteries.
turn wifi, mobile data, screen brightness down.
also download these apps, Juice Defender and greenify. they work wonders

Make sure you condition your battery once a week.

My iPhone 5s still gets two days.

Won't matter. You'll be getting the new iPhone next year so troll away sis.

Replace it with sony xperia z2 or samsung s5 and u will have tablet sized battery.

It really matters not. It's a smartphone. It won't last a day for heavy use. My green 5c lasts 6 hours on heavy use and i deal with it. You can use it while charging but minimize it. Don't play music/tether all the time while charging for example.

iPad: 11,560 mAh

Not quite tablet sized battery sis And when you factor in the size difference between phone's and the fact that iOS is built to use as little battery as possible and that Android isn't, it works out to be around the same

What do you do on your phone to make it dead in 6 hours?

Hell I watch YouTube video's, Facebook etc. to and from work and still have about 40% for the next day Then again the 5s does have a bigger battery but STILL!

Do not close apps constantly as this takes battery and do not keep charging when it's at 100%.

Happens to me all the time! Like it drains soo ****in fast!


Biggest problem is that sometimes it dies at 25% and then when i reconnect it it goes to 30%. What can I do to fix it anyone?

When it dies, does it show a wheel before it turns off or does it just turn off?

Also you shouldn't charge it if it's still got battery life in it. My Mum constantly charges her phone.
She panics when it gets down to like 54% and starts to charge it. Now her 5s only lasts like 6 hours.
Mine lasts around a day and a half.

You should only ever charge it when the batter hits Red/20% and once a week you should let the battery drain out.

Same for all devices. That's the best way to keep a battery healthy.

iPhones have **** batteries. It's just part of the deal. My iPhone 5S charges at night, and then it usually lasts me to about 6-7 in the afternoon, and I'll charge it.

Okay so it's not a fault with the battery Some batteries can be faulty and if there isn't enough power to run the phone it can just suddenly switch off.

It just means most of the time you've charged it when it's still had plenty of battery life, or you don't let it drain (condition) enough.

Just make sure you drain your phone at least once a weak and that you only charge it if you have too. Don't charge your phone if it still has 60% left etc. Usually wait till the battery goes red.
