The HTC One M8 looks nicer and more high-end than the Galaxy S5, but the S5 seems to have more features. I'm leaning towards the M8 for a change, since I've been using the Galaxys since the S2. But I'm also holding out to see what the Galaxy Note 4 brings to the table, I might go with the Note 4.

Must hurt to read that, doesn't it ? I mean the S5 was dragged like never seen before when it got announced and was seen as a S4.5 and yet they still put it "neck and neck" with the godly HTC M8.

My brother just picked up a HTC M8 and it's a beautiful phone tbh. I've owned to many Samsung devices so I would go for the HTC just for a change, despite the ~~horrid~~ underwhelming camera. The speakers, build quality and display are just

I LOVE my One but I can't honestly recommend it to anyone who likes to take photos with their phone, because my camera is really bad

The fact that the M8's isn't much better is a dealbreaker, but I'm waiting until next year for a new phone anyway.

I would pick the S5 just by camera alone..

the only thing that the m8 has better is the speakers, but that's an easy fix with headphones.. or just flip the phone upside down for about the same affect..

the S5 has a removable battery, and probably more durability then the htc..

Oh your so wrong. What the ONE doesn't exceed in is with the camera true.. But how many of yall are actually going out and blowing up these monster sized portraits at Kinkos? Noone. Its fine for everyday use for instagram and facebook due to compression. It actually was found to exceed in some areas against the iphone 5s. (bgr) The speakers are better true but so is the actual phone's overlay/skin.. um the most important thing about a phone. Its fluid, modern and minimalistic unlike Samsungs overlay. Also the Design (yawn we know we know) It also has a better response/touch then even the iphone. (source: BGR ) The only downfall if anything is its camera.. so in essence the Gs5 is a great ugly camera.

Last durability? hmm I think H-I-M has made an effort to showcase how the Galaxy lines are durable.
