I have an iPhone, but my next phone might be Android. There's some apps that I use that either take forever to get released on the Play store (or even developed for Android) that are on iOS.

My 5C should be able to keep up for a few more years after my contract though.

nowadays they're always released at the same time or with, like, 1 week ahead, and not always iPhone is the first one to receive the app

Yeah, that's true for most apps. But specific apps I want are iOS only. They're Konami's music games mostly, and one Capcom music game. They're stuck in 2010 apparently.

Fair enough, some apps have come on ios first but only because its easier to program for just one platform vs many more like on android. It was already confirmed that the revenue base is pretty much equal now for developers for the ios/android platform. Long ago developing for Apple was the only way to go. All the main applications are on ios/android now.
