one time at mcdonalds i got a meal and asked for a coffee instead of a drink and they charged me for the drink but DIDNT get me a cup for it and they told me it was "policy" when i complained

no its usually the other way around. its cause (not initially) im introverted so i forget many of my manners (that i wasnt taught)

Working at Neimans Marcus I know what exceptional customer service is and expect it everywhere I go.

also, one time at american eagle, i had a bunch of underwear and some stuff i was going to try on and as i went to the dressing room lady to ask if she could hold the underwear at the front desk, she gave me some dirty look and snapped at me for "attempting to try on underwear"

...sis i would have done the same , no shade to you but trying on underwear is a bit off key for me at least > esp if the next consumer doesnt know and buys it.

Sometimes I'd frequent the Backyard Burger that used to be near my old house. I was 7 or 8 at the time and school was over and I was with my brother. I think I asked if they put barbecue sauce on their burgers, and the employee at the front desk replied snidely, "Can you read?" She hurt my feelings, and my mom angrily went out of the car and put that pikachu looking bitch in her place. Needless to say, the burger wasn't that good.

They filed for bankruptcy not too long ago. Poor dat.

Worked so many years in customer service. It annoys me when people don't do their job right. So many lazy people. I judge hardcore I won't lie.

I work in a customer service position so I can't say.I will say Walmart has the WORST customer service I have seen.

I'd probably never complain because I've been in those conditions personally, only in some circumstances

The chain I work at (Kroger) has decent customer service, Not the worst like the HT/Publix clique make them out to be, but there could be room for improvement; We can be inconsistent at times. Me myself, I DON'T require much help when I go shopping, so I can't say the service makes or breaks it for me.

The only time I've EVER been annoyed with customer service is whenever I go to the Apple store, and want ask a simple question but their like "can we book you an appointment." It's like BITCH, half the employees are wandering around doing nothing, and all I want to do is ask a simple question.

When I did get to ask that said question, they didn't even give me a remotely helpful answer. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me AGAIN "You need to book an appointment."

I've never dealt with it but will give it out to rude customers. I spit in their food casually

I HATE going to Walmart and the cashier not even greet you when you're next up. She (it's usually a she) always proceeds to just check my things out while sloppily throwing my items in the bag. It's atrocious. The only thing I hear her mutter is the total for my items.

I rarely set foot in that chain anymore.There's really no use for it if you shop smart at the supermarkets.And tbh when liberals say 'they reduce competition' that's actually true because they have predatory pricing AND they're over expanding concepts.They NOT ONLY want to compete with grocery stores and low end department stores,They want to compete with Costco (Sam's),Dollar stores and Drugstores (Walmart Express) and now they want to give us these lipstick on a pig neighborhood markets in addition to these supercenters which already have groceries

There are two occasions recently where I've gotten horrible service.

One was at a Domino's where I came into to pick up food I'd ordered online. I came in and was not greeted by anyone, even though there were three workers at the store. All one of them had to do was hand me my food and say "have a good one", but instead it took one of them 10 minutes to acknowledge my presence and gave me my order while giving me the stink eye and didn't even say thank you. I immediately gave them a bad review on Yelp afterwards, it's still the only one star I've given on that site so far.

The other one was at an American Eagle, where this douchebag rang me up and didn't say anything to me except the total (in a rude tone). When I tried to apply there I figured out he was the assistant manager I won't be going back to that location until he's leaves, or better yet, is fired.

Not a whole lot. Retail sucks so I understand their frustrations. As long as they are friendly and cordial with me then we are good. But I will say that working retail has made me hate children with a passion. Literally the absolute pits. Parents just let them run around and destroy stuff and then get you in trouble when you scold them. Like. Watch your kids. I have a job.
