Ugh yes. The first time was at Applebees. We placed our order, an hour and a half goes by (it was a busy Saturday night in case anybody is wondering why we waited for that long in the first place). During that whole time, our waitress never stops in and checks on us or anything. We didn't even see her for the longest time so when we finally did, we called her over and asked what was going on. Turns out she forgot to put our order in and our food was never made in the first place. We then had to wait 40 minutes for our food to come out and they mixed up one of the orders and gave us the wrong thing In the end all they did was give us a small cup of free french fries for our troubles. Legit did not go back to that restaurant for over 5 years. The next time was a couple months ago, I ordered a salad and the two people with me ordered steaks. The steaks both came out but my salad didn't. So I'm waiting and waiting and I'm waiting so long for a simple salad that both of the people completely finished their steaks and I still have absolutely nothing. I complain to the waitress and 15 minutes later they finally come out with the salad and it's shoddily made and doesn't even look good, but at this point I'd accept anything because I was so hungry. Because the other people were already done, I ended up just taking the whole thing home in a to go box and never ended up eating at the actual restaurant. I really do not understand how you can mess up a salad that bad

Once several years ago at hollister I mentioned to two female employees that my sister worked there... And they said you're her sister?? And started laughing.... I was like um ok.

Oh my God; legit screamed. I feel bad for laughing though. It makes no sense, though, to seemingly make fun of your sister in your presence. I hate people so much.

I actually think they were making fun of me. I could be paranoid but I think considering my sister is 5 foot 10 and looks like a model and I'm 5 foot 1 I think they were trying to say I couldn't possibly be her sister...

Ah, I see. Yeah that's actually horrible. I could never be that rude to anyone who isn't rude to me. I still can't imagine how people are.

I guess they forgot the salad too. But you know to your first story, restaurants can get VERY busy, waiters have actually a lot to do and it can happen when you are under total stress that you forget to type in the food. There is nothing worse then customers who don't understand such things, even if they see that there is so much going on in the restaurant. I would have made your drinks free though.

You guys are all happy to live in the us. When I was there on vacation, everybody was so friendly, customer service, restaurant staff, I felt like a king. Here in Europe, Vienna we jave the worst customer service ever. Everyone gives you those looks, no smiling faces, everybody is ignorant and annoyed. America has the best waiters for sure, they make you feel welcomed and all that. Can't wait to move over there!

Phone companies are the pits when it comes to costume services...

I know! I try to rent costumes from them and they try to add $400 to my bill!

Whenever my family goes to Applebees, it's terrible. All the food there is microwaved, and the service is slow.

As for kids since they were mentioned, they can be the worst beings on the planet. They can also be the most caring.

I haven't eaten at an Applebee's since 2003.

Today, at McDonalds.

The guy was giving me so much attitude that I stopped halfway through, open my meal and there was cheese on my sandwich after telling him to make sure there isn't.

I took the sandwich, opened it and spread it on the table and called his manager.

The thing here is because the Mac staff aren't locals and one of them was wrong they didn't have the guts to yell back or tell me i'm wrong for rubbing the sandwich all over the table.


Anyway, I got an apology, a refund a new meal with a mcFlurry.
