Yeah a couple times. It usually takes me 6 months to get over it.

It's funny, because the key to helping me get over them was to see them with another person.

Anytime I would see that, it would be like an automatic switch off and my attention would start being directed to other places. I never understood.

But I've noticed, at least in my case, once you've moved on, they always come back.

This is so true. Almost three years ago, my ex decided to get back with me even though he knew he was going to be going away for college a few months after. I'm over him, but I still miss what we had.

Honestly my ex broke my heart back in August and I still have days where I miss him.

I honestly think you can never truly get over the last one until you fall in love with someone else.

Yup. Had a huge crush on a friend who I thought felt the same. Guess he didn't. Haven't seen him since end of October and I still can't get over him. I think about him all the time and even today I cried a little just thinking about it. It sucks because he was perfect and I really thought there was something there and he seemed to care at one point. Extremely frustrating. He broke my heart and I would never forgive him for that.

Did he lead you to believe it was more than what it was? Or was it just a crush you developed on your own?

Sometimes I think we selfishly think people are supposed to reciprocate the same feelings, thoughts we have no matter what.
