Didn't he do more for XIII? and I knew that Mizuta worked on a good bit of it but I didn't think he did the majority of the work.

Mizuta doesn't make music well for games like Final Fantasy his work for Parasite Eve 2 was great though.
His style fits more modernized games imo.

The Metacritic score is a kii.

The game is bad other than the combat and it sold much less than X+X-2HD in its home country.
The same is going to happen here. Only a few are excited for this while the majority are willing to buy X+X-2 HD.

My ex got me a early copy and the battle system is amazing but the story is terrible.
I don't like how the timer still goes on during cutscenes I feel like I am being rushed to beat this game. I want to explore the world they gave us.

I said a long time ago before it was even released that they need to add a feature to stop time so you can explore as much as you want.

Famitsu usually gives Final Fantasy a 38 to 40 which means this game is underperforming.

I don't use this series at all. They should of called it a day after XIII. Final Fantasy XV looks awesome. Tetsuya Normua is probably the best director they got working there atm. Head of production for two next gen games currently.

The battle system is fun! And the schemas are cool to try out. The timer is an interesting feature but it stresses me out even when im not playing

anyway it took me too long to find those damn 4 numbers. I wasted a day and a half running around and yeah, that damn clock stresses me out too. but the game is still really fun.

I agree after XIII-2 it was clear then they had no set vision for the games.

I was hoping XIII-2 would follow the novel they even misrepresented the content before E3 that it was about Lightning trying to save Fang and Vanille.

I love Square but that was false advertising, with that said XIII-2 was better than XIII.

maybe so but the story didn't end in XIII-2 so it was clear that another game would be made. The producer said that lightning returns would resolve every question that was asked during the first 2 games. personally I just want to see what happens between serah and lightning. I feel like Lumina is serah or something because she looks like her. maybe an evil version of serah? im not sure but I am personally interested in seeing how this all ends.
