Agreed. It felt so forced and out of place in XIII-2 and Neol felt like a last minute character. You didn't dig deeper into his past and personality. They don't even go into detail on why he was so into Yuel or the nature of their relationship.

On the fence about this one, I've already spoiled the story for myself and have heard mixed reviews about the game. But Lightning is one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters, so I might buy after the price drops and for completing the trilogy.
