Did you find it hard learning how to speak English? More-so than other languages or less? Is there one thing in particular that's hard about it? As a native English speaker I've always been curious to see what it's like from the opposite perspective.

English was pretty easy compared to German and French. The only thing I struggle with sometimes is pronunciation but that's because it's harder to practice on your own compared to reading and writing.

It's the most basic an easy language out there.

FACT. Verbs have only 3 tenses in english.

It's the most basic language there is probably. It's very easy compared to my mother language.

It was easy, mostly thanks to the constant exposure of English through music/TV. I think it's easy to learn another language as long as you're exposed to it early on in life and you regurarly hear it. That's why French, Italian, Bulgarian, Russian and Serbian haven't come close to being as easy to learn as English for me, since I don't get the natural exposure to them + I started studying them when I was a bit older (except French that I started when I was 12).

It's the easiest language ever tbh.

No it's a really easy language tbh and it has a lot in common with other languages I speak.

Also it helps that I'm from a northern European country. (English is a Germanic language and so are most northern European languages). And it shows people from northern Europe speak way better English than people from southern Europe etc.
But I myself learned a lot from the tv.
We have subtitles for English spoken programmes whereas the southern European countries often have it dubbed in the native language.

Primary schools here also start pretty early teaching English to kids

Nope, I've been living here since I was 3 so I picked it up pretty easily.

Very easy, but I have a talent for languages

English was the third language I have learned and I must admit that at first I didn't really liked it. I had trouble to hear differences in words like their/they're and your/you're. And I probably was too lazy back then to actually study English. But the more I got into music and American TV shows the more I picked it up and improved my skills drastically and with ease.

So no. English is no way hard to learn. I know I'm not perfect and I probably will never be but as long as I can communicate well, everything's fine. Grammatically English is not as hard as other languages and in most countries you are always somehow surrounded by the language which also makes it easier to get into i.
