Things are definitely getting better, but it will never stop completely. There will always be prejudice.

Homophobia at its core is hate as is racism and misogyny.

Hate will never end, so neither will they.

We can, though, make the world a different and far better place by promoting love and acceptance.

I hate the way celebrities will say something ignorant and then act like that's not what they said. Paula Deen, Sherri Sheperd, and now this homophobe. Stop apologizing and acting like you're sorry. The only reason you're apologizing is to look good and because you were exposed. Whatever. If people wanna be ignorant then I don't care but the sad thing is that there will always be racists and homophobes in the world. Have fun going through life as yourself.

Btw, I'm not defending her since I think this was so ignorant but at least Madonna admitted she was wrong for calling her son the n word and she apologized for it. She knows what she did was wrong.

Considering racism still has a long way to go, I don't expect the prejudice to stop anytime soon....if ever.

Of course, hatred will never not exist. However, the constantly growing support for the LGBT community will hopefully give people enough power and security to no longer be affected by hatred.

Maybe if we raise our children better that would stop the hate. As for now, never. Racism hasn't even ended yet.
