Well it's isn't the best in the western world but I guess nobody here would wanna live in Russia right now.

Homophobia will always be there to a degree but gay marriage is legal in a lot of places now and legislation is getting put through in other countries. Being gay in 1st world countries really isn't that big a deal. As for the Liam thing, that was just blown out of proportion.

I think in America it will end very soon so everyone sounds politically correct even if they haven't really changed their beliefs. It also depends on what you mean by homophobia. If you mean the actual definition, hating gays, then hopefully very soon. However, if you mean believing homosexuality is wrong then you will never get your way and I am fine with that. I don't think homosexuality is right but I still respect gays' decisions and don't judge or treat them any different than anyone else. That's my 2 cents.

For starters, the "gays" need to stop shouting "homophobe!!!" Every time someone disagrees with their lifestyle choice. The "gay community" is entirely too intolerant.

Are you a kid, OP? How is an unfavorable opinion a sign that things aren't better? Those are people with opinions just like you. Just because you dislike chicken doesn't mean that all people think so too and chickens are no longer being killed for their consumption. You must be young as hell and have no life outside of the internet. With that said, stay inside child because *whispers* There are people out in the real world who dislike you blatantly and have no qualms about it.
