Am I the only one who has never had one positive (academic) group project experience? Like I've emailed this ****er 5x already. He has not replied to a single one and our presentation in two days. Me and my other group members are ready to wring his neck!



Anyone else have a similar experience? How did you resolve the situation?

That is when you get the other group members to agree with you to GIVE THE SLACKER A LOW GRADE. You better call him out.

And I normally do all of the work/most of it in group projects. I don't have time for people to mess up my grade. Sorry.

Yes omg. Drama class, this guy didn't contribute anything + showed up the day of the performance asking what he has to say. ...He did that. We told the prof and had him dismissed from the group.

I always tell my teachers before anything: "I am an individualist. I work alone" So they always let me do all the assignments, projects and presentations by myself. I don't want to sound selfish, but I know that the person that will contribute the most, is yourself. And that way I get all the freedom I want on my assignments, don't have to discuss the designs and stuff like that with other members. And if anything, I will always tell the teacher, who contributed the less or did not contribute at all, even if we talked about telling the teacher that we've done equal job. I want them to get worse grades when my grades are the best/highest.

I'm such a bitch

I am very hands on, and I always team up with at least one person I know and trust. Also, being a natural leader I get to tell people what to do and they rather comply than handle my wrath.

But this one time in a four-person group project in the ninth grade, I did all the work and we ended up getting a C or something like that. I was on my way to the teacher during class time to rat the three of them out, but the one bitch in my project team came up with me because she knew what I was gonna do. She got to the teacher first and said the other two people didn't do anything. EFFIN SMART KUNT. Whatevs, still got my C reversed to an A...and so did she.

I'm in one right now. Every group wrote a paragraph and I have to combine them but nobody gave me theirs. Like are you ****ing serious? How am I supposed to do it?

I do all the work.

And in one case, my group partners meant well but couldn't do something to the level I wanted, so I had to assign them time occupying work while I did the actual work. Actually, that's kind of most of the time (if it's not me doing everything.)
