It's a long read.

It's really annoying and unnerving. It makes me upset for multiple reasons. Approving marriage equality for the lgbt community shouldn't even be a bother, seeing how we're human. For people who want to be with animals (and are hoping our fight for marriage equality aids them) is very bothersome. Humans loving humans of the same sex shouldn't bring into question people wanting to be with animals, and those who want to shouldn't use our cause for theirs. For them to even liken the two...

Those against marriage equality use this as an excuse to stop two samesex humans from being together. I didn't think those who were into animals would act on it, tho. I clicked on some of those links within the link provided and some of them honestly believe there's no difference between what they do and homosexuality.

This whole situation is ridiculous. I'm trying so hard not to sound offensive or hypocritical (though it's not really hypocritical), but I don't like this at all. Two humans being together shouldn't open any door for humans and animals getting together. This could start some serious ****.

I don't know what to think.

I feel that zoophilia isn't right because technically an animal isn't consenting and honestly chances are most of the population would probably agree with me. But then again isn't that how people felt about interracial and gay couples, that it wasn't right?

I feel that zoophilia is different from the two because of the whole consent thing but what if in the future people don't? It seems messed up to us but opinions change with time and new generations.

Uh, no. Animals can't consent. Animals can't own property. Animals can't make financial, medical decisions for a spouse. Animals don't pay taxes and are considered property themselves. The list goes on for why the comparison is ridiculous, but I'm not even going to waste my time.

Bestiality is wrong because animals can't consent. Pedophilia is wrong because children do not have the mental capability to understand sex and therefore consent (well its probably more complex than THAT but I simplified it). Homosexuality.... doesn't hurt anyone. I wish more people understood this.

Until we can prove that animals give any kind of consent.. this is just disgusting.. poor animals..
