I think that corporal punishment should be brought back as a form of discipline.
Have you seen the next generation? Absolute mess. Parents (especially parents in the western culture), don't have the heart to punish their kids. Do you really think making them sit in a corner for a few minutes is going to help? However* There is a line between disciplining and beating your children. I do not condone child abuse, however a child should be smacked on the butt in order to learn.
