But I do think the mods or admin have to understand. The main reason ( and am not calling out anyone in particular) why the site is messy and well 'inappropriate' is because some of the people are actually that way . So doing this is probably going to just shift all their 'inappropriacy' elsewhere . It will just probably get messier elsewhere(in other threads and all) from now on and well I nust admit the messiness of this site is partly what makes it enjoyable.

I foresee SYG getting closed cause that's where most will be headed now and its also one of those messy areas. Sure it has nothing to do with the expicit conent but people here will always find a way to cheat or ruin stuff. I don't think this place will ever be the 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' you seem to be wanting it to be in a way ,that was never why people liked it ....

See, people keep saying that the "mess" is a main selling point or something that attracts members, but that's exactly what the administrators don't want. ATRL was made to facilitate pop music discussion first and foremost, and that is why I and many, many other members joined.

The way you're talking, you're asking as if the people joining are 9 - 12. Who has parents going through their ****?

Honestly, I am not too upset over the whole thing. I can understand what you guys are going for, but you're really doing the most about it. It's not like the whole site is basically p0rn and sex. The blogs were a bit much. It had stories, but it the whole bad images were consisted into the Dirty Talk blog. If you honestly are in high school and you're looking at that then you deserve to be punished.

Hope that means y'all are banning those Victoria Secret avi's.

This is a website. Not a social network. You guys are supposed to know your demographic and cater to that demographic within reason. Don't act like ATRL attracts people from all walks of life when it doesn't Though we come from different parts of the world, we aren't that diverse age-wise.

This 'we're focusing on the music' excuse is so weak btw. If you wanted to focus on the music you would have just deleted The Lounge and blogs altogether and been done with it. (And I'd be fine with that!) But let's not act like removing explicit content from blogs is somehow making the forum more music-focused.
