I guess I won't argue since I have little understanding about Islamic religion, but I thought she was very respectful by wearing the Hijab to cover herself up and acknowledge the Islamic presence there.

My friend from Saudi Arabia said that he saw nothing wrong with the pictures and that if anything, the makeup was the problem, but I don't think the article mentioned that. :shrug:

Which btw strikes this little fit against Rihanna as odd. I don't think posing was the problem. I think they have a problem with Rihanna using the hijab and the mosque itself as fashion accessories for a photo shoot rather than a place to be visited and well-respected.

She doesnt have a choice. If she wanted to get into the area she is FORCED to wear the Hijab.
