They say Bey because her dad used to be in the Grammy committee I believe and he was gone during the 4 era and she didn't win any that era.

Mathew Knowels was on the panel for the grammy's so naturally when Bey won 6 grammy's in one night you could wonder

Once the Grammy committee finds someone they love and who is a safe choice (Beyonce, Adele, etc), they pretty much always award them if they're nominated.

There have bene alot of artists like that. Beyonce gets that treatment mostly in the R&B fields, Kanye gets it in the Hip Hop fields, and Adele gets it in the general/pop fields.

She won one. She only won one during the B'Day era as well and he was on the committee and was still her manager then.

Yes its expensive but you'll eventually get a discount if a certain relative is in the commitee
