The question is, which teen pop is better? The early 2000s teen pop or today's teen pop?
Today's teens have more control over their music which is why they suck more. Tacky lyrics and copycat production of bigger name stars' music. Nothing innovative.
Though today's teens know how to sing better. The 00s teens had the X factor, unique productions, and unmatched choreography.
I'll be honest I have to say the early 00's because I was more familiar with more of their material when I was younger. Now that i'm older I ignore most of the current teen pop acts music (except ariana), but to my credit I have listened to some of the current teeny boppers songs. But even witht hat said BSB & Xtina>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We still have The voice of a generation, Xtina.
We still have The greatest performer to ever exist Britney.
We still have The new king of pop Justin Timberlake.
Them 3 alone can take on the World
Early 2000s Teen pop for sure. The melodies were incredible
Today's teen pop seems mostly to be unmelodic power pop/pop rock (Although to be fair, a lot of them are trying to move past that sound but their quality is still beneath the Early Teen Pop's evolutions by far right now)
