I had no idea they'd be this cute, but I'm going to stick with my Lumia for now because Android + those specs is just not good for a user like me. I thought you'd get to pick more of the specs! This is just the mid-end edition, so I'm sure whatever they put out as their high end will make me crave it. Still, I really like this ability to customize the storage/outside of the phone/receive in 5 days [in the US]. Wonder if it'll come to Canada and on what carrier...

I like the flicking motion to switch to the camera, I could use a feature like that... but my phone already wakes up and vibrates in under .5 seconds when holding down the camera button so I wouldn't switch just for that. Cannot wait to see what their high end offering will be, I've got a feeling they're going to win me over.

This phone is nice but the pricing is ridiculous, especially with those mid range specs.

199$ on contract? I'm pretty sure that the "Assembled in the USA" is the main reason for this.

The pricing is completely stupid for this mid-tier phone. It looks cute though. I can see the audience they're targeting.

I'm really disappointed by the price. This smartphone is already old spec wise and its price tag is way too high.

And I'm sure that the next Nexus phone will have the same features, better specs for less money. I'm a fan of Google but they screwed up this time.

Their high end offering is the Droid line. That's for the people who want specs. It was in the verge's interview.

This could be a competitive phone but it should've been cheaper.

There's no reason why phones with 8 cores should ever freeze on Android so if this phone is optimized well and works well with Android with minimal lag (since its supposed to be Google's baby) then the specs won't even matter. It should be cheaper though.
