Right so I've been looking at these Charice threads & some of you guys are a damn mess for saying she's ugly/disgusting/hideous/horrid etc etc. It's obviously a bit out of the blue but we should all be supporting her instead of posting s at every damn opportunity. Surely none of you likes it when we get trashed by all the rednecks & extremist religious groups?

We should stand together as opposed to going against each other. Same applies to feminine vs masculine gays or homos vs lesbians. Why so judgemental all the time?

I think they're either extremely stupid & ignorant to the fact that they share the same struggle or repressed queens who are jealous of t-girls and t-guys because they don't have the guts to come out as trans and admit their gender dysmorphia themselves. Some of them see others making fun of trans people and they're just followers so they do the same. Would you break your leg if everyone else did it as well? (no offense jessiejhjeartbeat)

Same could be said about gays. You don't get to decide what people are.

But sis.. if someone identifies as a trans woman or trans man, how are they trying to be something they are not? They are not identifying as a biological male or biological female.
Going through their transition and expressing themselves outwardly how they feel inwardly IS what makes them comfortable in their own skin. Are you anti gay as well? Because someone could argue that if you're a man, why can't you be comfortable with the social construct bestowed upon you and date a WOMAN? It's the same old tired argument just rehashed and used with different terms.

I don't get why being gay, you must automatically accept your peers. You have the right not to, and in all honesty, your sexuality does not require anything from you.

But, if you are one of the (many) gays, like on this site, that complain about mistreatment of homosexuals and whatnot, the last thing you should do is bash your peers. But even then, you aren't required to.

People in general are hypocrites. Everyone is. You can't escape it.

You don't choose your sexuality. However, you choose to become the opposite gender. You aren't born with it. You make the decision yourself, unlike sexuality.

Of course, a person can ultimately decide if they want to switch teams, but being on this forum, you know sexuality is a choice. Going to a surgeon for a sex change is a decision, though. Or even deciding to dress up as the opposite sex.

That video is really well done, I was jamming to the music the whole way through.

I care most about transgender men and women and their rights out of all LGBTQ issues as their the most discriminated and ignored, even by the major LGBT organizations who use them only when it benefits them.

That aside, even that video has issues if one wants to get really preachy about it. They did not use any feminine men or masculine women in it - subscribing to all ideas of heteronormativity and seeking to whitewash the LGBT community. Yada yada, it's all only a matter of time.

No, they are not incomparable. You don't choose your sexuality & you don't choose to have Gender Dysmorphia.... A gay person DOES however, have choice of acting on how they feel and engaging in relationships/sex with the same sex just as a person with gender dysmorphia has the choice of transitioning to feel at peace and comfortable with who they are..

Btw you aren't born as a gender, you're born a male or female. Gender is a social construct (Man & Woman vs Male & Female) that is forced on most everyone in our society.
