Discussion: Do you use bands?

Looking people's signatures featuring their faves, I see a lot of Rihanna, GaGa, etc. If not a main pop girl, a solo female doing pop music.
So here's my question for you: do you use bands? Which ones? If you don't, why not?

One Direction, 2NE1, BIGBANG, WONDER GIRLS, SECRET.
I used to use The Wanted, JLS.
I also use The Saturdays, Lawson and quite a lot of bands actually.

If we are talking bands like group of musicians then The Pretty Reckless and Evanescence. 
I use a lot of girl groups though and one boy band.

Metric, the Knife (at least their old stuff), The xx, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Death Cab For Cutie, The Postal Service, Arcade Fire, (Do two person duos like Tegan and Sara, Icona Pop, and Phantogram count?), Stars, Dragonette, iI use a fair amount.

I use a few groups (One Direction, Little Mix, Girls Aloud, 2NE1, etc) but as for bands;
Florence + the Machine (  ), Bastille, Purity Ring*, Muse, Of Monsters and Men, fun., The Temper Trap, Coldplay, La Roux*, The xx, Niki & the Dove, Evanescence, etc.
*these are duos but they are made from a vocalist and a producer, so it kinda counts as a 'band'.
