I really don't think you'll find many people who disagree with you on ATRL, a pop forum that revolves around the lives of (mostly) female popstars who all have dabbled in - and made careers out of - the very same genre you despise.
In your post, though, you mentioned that EDM basically gives the producer a chance to shine rather than the actual artist. What's so wrong about that? Producers should be credited as much as the singer if a song blows up around the world.
