Olly Murs has said he's not recognised enough for his achievements.Since leaving The X Factor as runner-up in 2009, Olly has released three albums and sold almost three million copies.
He said: "People come from The X Factor and they might stick around for a year or two, so I'm proud to carry on selling records, to grow a fanbase and be on three albums.
"It's a massive achievement and it doesn't get highlighted enough, the three albums I've released and the sales I've achieved. I think it's amazing and I'm really chuffed, but it doesn't get written about."
Asked whether it bothered him, the singer said: "Of course it does... From an industry point of view, press too, there is snobbery that I'm from The X Factor, that I didn't come through the right channels, and they're not into it.
"I don't understand it. It's clear in writing how successful I've been and what I've achieved."
Olly said it was "unlikely" he'd be doing the next series of The Xtra Factor.
He added: "There's been a lot of speculation, but I've never said it was definite that I wasn't going back, just that it was unlikely due to my music career. I might still do it, we'll see. I've enjoyed The Xtra Factor, it's been a great part of my career."
He hasn't really blown up tbh. I'm from the UK and we don't really hear much about him, he's had one or two songs but nothing memorable, plus his season of X-Factor was only in 2009, it wasn't that long ago. He's acting as though he's some sort of Kelly Clarkson.
If he wants to be famous he needs to drop them trousers and show the world that perfect, supple ass because that is his ticket to stardom. How do you think Nick Minaj and JLO got famous? Now it is time for the gays to have their well endowed bottom queen.
He has a point. The UK industry doesn't seem to want to show how anyone has done well outside of Brit school. It is a bit of an issue. But he can't moan. FFS he's hammered by every damn station in the country.

I mean good for him he's making his music blah blah blah who cares. Olly gurl I need you to spice up the adult movie industry cause this MESS is not doing it anymore.

Or at least become an Andrew Christian model.
Like!!! Not his record label being completely oblivious to the only feature of his that is iconic. Do they think those Dr.Luke reject tracks from the Xfactor recycling center are going to cut it?! The delusion.
As a public figure with that kind of ass. It is his responsibility to show it to the world. For the sake of the people.
He didn't really put it the right way, but he has a point of an X factor act having career that has been as successful as his, just look at most of acts who came from the show (actually everyone except 1D).

He had 4 #1's and all of his albums are above 2x platinum, with second one being million seller, so I'm not sure how he hasn't 'blown up' when he's basically among top 3 most successful males in the country at the moment if not the most successful one.
