this. he's actually pretty shockingly underrated here. the UK media has a habit of trying to bring down x factor alumni in any way they can, and olly hasn't really had any major scandals to exploit so i personally think they just snub him and ignore his successes instead. sure he's not exactly a global superstar (and he acknowledged this in a separate interview recently) but he's actually been very lucky to have sustained success beyond his first album as most x factor artists (especially males) flop really quickly.
he's right, he doesn't get enough recognition.
