Does Rihanna have an artistic prresence ? In the world of critics she usually gets slammed for lack of artistic presence on stage or in music videos.I think it is undeniable that she has a bold stage presence but does she have an artistic one ?
Rihanna's art is never shoved down your throat but that doesn't mean she isn't artistic.
Rated R, Good Girl Gone Bad, and Unapologetic are the albums that I'd deem 'artistic'. One thing I think gets overlooked when it comes to Rihanna is that for the most part she's usually ahead of the curve or right on time when it comes to what's new and happening in music. She's almost never late and stale.
Rihanna's idea of art is looking into the camera half naked with cigarette smoke coming out of her mouth.
Lazy singer with pitch problem, stiff dancer, no stage presence and she has very little to do with the creation of her music. I can tell by how little she cares to put on a good show. She's good for an album cover and a catchy hook and that's basically what her career is about. Which is impressive, considering all she's accomplished.
