Is Katy Perry "I Kissed a Girl" more risky than all Lady Gaga singles?
Being banned i was reading some themes there and i was kinda surprised when little monsters (lady gaga fans) were saying that her singles are risky and they were saying that Katy single choices are safe and generic. But what about "I kissed a girl"?.Isn't it more risky than all Lady Gaga singles?I mean Gaga biggest hits are Poker Face,Just Dance and Bad Romance.First of all they sound exactly the same.Sorry, but you have to admit.Secondly they sound wasn't risky at all.I meam during that time Black Eyed Peas took a lot of risk bringing dance music back on top and "I Got A Feeling" was first full dance hit since "Sorry" by Madonna and Gaga songs were just like "When I Grow Up" by PCD for example. It was more dancey, but it was defenetily nothing like "IGAF" and wasn't revolutionary at all.Sound of Gaga hit songs died like Lil Kim career and sound of "IGAF" is still here.
"IKAG" lyrics are very risky and scandalous.I just couldn't remember any other lesbian hit in my lifetime. And also let's admit she didn't even try to hide it and replace it with less explicit lyrics. It wasn't a typical pop songs and it wasn't a typicl rnb either. Also it's meaning are more original and interesting than meaning of Gaga singles.
So do you feel that "I Kissed A Girl" is more risky than Lady Gaga singles because she never had a song were she was openly singing such explicit lyrics and she said she was a bisexual and opened for every kind of love, but why she is afraid about singing songs like this?I mean "BTW" was close, but we have songs with same meaning for ages.Do you feel that Katy Perry is underrated by society as a risk-taker?Do you think that Katy Perry inspired millions of lesbians worldwide to be not ashamed of who they are and made much bigger things for gay society than Lady Gaga but sadly she didn't receive all praise she deserved fofr it?
I am not here for trolling and shade, just express your feelings and let's have a nice discussion.
