Good for Mika, I'm glad she's moving away from a ******** factor found within the American media. (Celebrities taking more importance than the stories that actually affect the people. It happened with Britney Spears twice. The day she got married in Vegas was also the day when we landed a robot on Mars, and then again last year with Britney breaking up with K Fed taking the lead spotlight over the 2006 election.) It's quite disturbing. Paris Hilton should never have this kind of attention for actual news programs.

I also heard Larry King bumped Michael Moore (who's been promoting Sicko) for Paris on Tues.

This is what makes the difference between the european and the american medias I think. In my country the serious tv shows who report political, social and conomic news would never deal with the celebrities.. this is not even conceivable! Celbrities gossips and serious news: both are never mixed. This is so strange!
