Why did SF win Best Contemporary R&B Album and 4 didnt? SF isnt even R&B

Does the absence of Matthew have something to do with why Bey was snubbed by the Grammy Committee last year?

4 should have been nominated for Album of the Year IMO

Because it was a huge smash era and nowadays the Grammys care more about success than quality. I can give you plenty of examples of that.

4 is one of the best darn r&b albums in a while, don't get why it didn't get nominated yet F.A.M.E by that one guy won.

Not always though. The Grammys often awards underground artists or non-commercial ''artistic'' albums. They dont always go by just singles.
Party wasnt a hit but they still nominated that.

B'Day won one Grammy after DIL won 5, so your logic about Matthew is flawed.
