but the actual figure would be lower worldwide since ad revenue from many countries are low compare to North America/Europe. In addition, Youtube also take a cut from VEVO videos on youtube.
If 100 million views = $1 mil royalties payment then 10 billion views = $100 mil royalties payment.
I think VEVO has more than 10 billion views in the year 2012.
I would predict: North America/Europe/Australia/Japan = $0.007 per view ($700,000 per 100 million views)
Rest of the world = $0.0025 per view ($250,000 per 100 million views).
They would average out at around $0.005 per view.
