VEVO is not MTV or terrestial radio that don't pay artists royalties.

VEVO/Pandora/Youtube/Spotify: pay both the artists/record labels and the songwriter/publishers
MTV/traditional radio: pay only the songwriter/publishers

The more successful VEVO is, the better it will be for the music industry.


Hopefully one day, Warner Music Group will license to VEVO too. All of Warner artists are missing from VEVO.
