Saying just a "preference" to hide your obvious racism is still racism.
Most people don't seem to know what the word really means.

The "vanilla" "spice" "chocolate" "rice" is MOST CERTAINLY racist language. It's disgusting. But a lot of the people who use these metaphors are going through an extensive identity crisis themselves so...whatevs.
