I would understand the offense taken at calling Asians "rice" and black men "chocolate," if that was the only name-calling, but he refers to white guys as "vanilla" and he's clearly into those so I'm confused as to how this is offensive. He's pretty much referring to every race in a food sense.

People are so sensitive.

Many Asians with a sense of humor refer to guys who are into Asians as "Rice Queens". Plus he's entitled to have preferences. It's not that big of a deal.

Even if he said he wasn't into "spice", I wouldn't be offended as a latino.

Black people often refer to themselves as chocolate, asians as rice, latinos as dulce de leche (never heard spice before LOL), white people as vanilla. But the moment anyone else says it, it's offensive?

As for having a preference, there's nothing ignorant about it. Either way, his profile is humorous and should be taken just as that. It'd be another thing if it had a serious tone throughout and then he's like "no blacks, no asians".

This is more a case of people being sensitive than him being ignorant, in my opinion.

His choice of words was not the best, but at the end of the day, a person's sexual preference for certain races is not racism. Racism is voluntary and full of hatred. You don't control what you are attracted to.

Race and gender are not the same thing lets get that out of the way.
