Think about it. Hugely egotistical and narcissistic (almost to the point of insanity) Pop stars that defy genre, have multiple classic albums, get critical acclaim like its nothing, and always push music forward. Do you think there are enough parallels? Is Kanye West this generation's Prince?

No but he's probably the closest thing we have.

That's not the only thing that makes Prince Prince though. It's amazing that Prince has that kind of talent talent, but his ambition, attitude, adventurous tendencies in music are also very important parts of who he is as an artist.

No one is close to Prince. He's untouchable...that's the reason he's the Queen.

It's like saying Lady Gaga & Rihanna are the new Madonna. There are similarities, but the statement is just dumb as hell.
