Is the "Diamonds" music video overtly reminiscent of Lana Del Rey?



Rihanna's first single, "Diamonds," initially drew criticism for sounding too sonically similar to
Lana Del Rey while using Del Rey's signature baroque instrumentation. Now, with the
release of the "Diamonds" music video, she's under fire once again for borrowing
themes and visuals from several of Del Rey's previous releases.

That was only one comparison floating on tumblr right now (pun intended). Search
tumblr now for more alleged visual similarities between Rihanna's latest work
and Lana Del Rey's past work. I was astonished, to be honest.
