Whitney at one point in her career was often criticized and now they adore her. Black people in general are fickle.

Beyonce is respected by the majority of the black community. From grandma's who see her as a sweet young girl, to ambitious working black women who idolize her work ethic. To even the president and the first lady. And the men who wish they had a woman who was talented, humble, sexy and hard-working.

This is not high school or sympathy center. We don't know Prince personally, we don't know Bruce Springsteen's struggles, we don't Barbara Streisand's favorite meal and we certainly don't know Ella Fitzgerald's personal life. They have something more to show that commands respect not just attention.
