In 1996, Mariah was up for 6 Grammys for her massive album, Daydream. Mariah lost every category she was up for that night. They invited her to come perform and still snubbed her of all of the noms. Which categories do you think she deserved to win in? Or do you think she didnt deserve any of the nominations she received? Sound off in the replies.

Bonus Question: Many people feel like Mariah has also been snubbed in the General categories in '96 and in 2006. In 2006, she was nominated for AOTY, ROTY, and SOTY for Emancipation of Mimi + We Belong Together. The winners of those categories are below. Do you think she's been snubbed in the General categories? What for?

For '96, I think she definitely deserved Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals + the ROTY nom she got. I'm not QUITE as sure about AOTY though. For 2006, she definitely deserved either ROTY or SOTY for WBT.
Album and Record of the Year were pretty stacked that year but there was no reason at all to give her nothing, especially since Celine won Album of the Year the very next year. This still upsets me.
As for 2006 - when you're up against rock artists for the most part (especially legends like U2), you're pretty much screwed from winning.
They really ****ed her over in 2006. She had the biggest song and album of the year, but didn't win either. I know it's not about which song was the most popular, but they GAVE that award to U2. The song was good but not THAT good. If anything Kanye should have won Album of the Year.
They did the same thing to Mary a year later. Gave her the token 3 R&B Grammys just like they did with TEOM when she was nominated in the general categories.
How rude and inconsiderate of Grammy to nominate her for 6, invite her to perform and then totally snub her of any award. They could of given her at least one.
