I love Channel Orange but Is Your Love Big Enough? by Lianne La Havas is the best album from this year so far for me. I know she's pretty irrelevant and nobody probably knows her but I love her album more than Channel Orange.
I enjoy the Album but, Channel Orange is getting too much overrated here... it's the same Album like R. Kelly's "Write Me Back" ... people hype it too much after he said: I'm bi...
See, I think a lot of us thought that Frank was gonna be like Bruno Mars. You know, he writes smashes for and collabs with a bunch of artists, releases a good EP (or mixtape/unreleased album in Frank's case), and then drops an LP with singles that would just wreck **** and take over radio, and I don't see that happening with Channel Orange. I could be wrong though. Time will tell.
People who knows him longer should also know that he can do it much better, I don't say Channel Orange is bad or something like that but which I know is that Lonny Breaux music was better for me then this new Frank Ocean records. The Mixtape Songs (Swim Good, Dust, Songs For Women, Strawberry Swing, Thinkin Bout U etc.) are good examples... where he recorded everything as Lonny and then released it under Frank
