Busy Bees: How Do You Stay in Shape?
I'm at the final year of my college, taking up an engineering degree (yes this chick is hardcore) and it's busier and more stressful than ever. My ideal fitness maintenance would be running for one hour 4x a week regardless of mileage, and hundred counts of sit-ups/crunches+dumbbells everyday. Now I can still do the latter but I can only run once a week. It sucks because I love exercising!!! You? How do you try to squeeze in staying in shape exercises despite your busy lives? Share your stories.

Drinking coffee keeps me sharp and suppresses my hunger.

Walk. The easiest and most healthy thing you can do. The more you sit the more you kill yourself. And you have to walk don't you? Instead of going to a local grocery, go to one farther away. Things that like, it makes it easier to combine your busy life with a simple task. And of course eat healthy, but also eat the things you love in moderation.
My story. Last year, I was doing no exercise and being lazy (I was a mess). Until I couldn't fit in my pants and the button popped. So I made a plan, I will limit the amount I sit and always keep on my feet. I did this for the whole year and dropped past my original weight, and a few pants sizes. I never felt so good in my life, anyway. I managed to do this and keep up with my work (i'm in college too).
All I did was combined being active with doing my work, so it was less of a chore. Like running on a treadmill reading flashcards or notes. I wish I was you though, I like exercising, but I wish I was like some people and loved it.

I lift, do 100 sit ups and push ups every other day, and squats and lunges at least twice a week. I also walk a lot. I drink water like crazy. I mostly work out at night (between 11 & 1) because nothing's ever really going on during that time. I'm usually asleep by 2. People say it's bad to workout before you go to bed, but I've only had a problem with it once.
School and work threw all that out the window last semester and the semester before. It will not happen again this semester.

congrats on the weight loss. To actually lose weight to the point of changing wardrobe size is a big feat in itself. Doesn't matter what kind of exercise you did as long as you did it the natural active way

All of these are great tips. Coffee helps wake me up early and survive when I can't grab food but need the focus, and I like to believe that it helps my body make more out of the walking I have to do around campus. Otherwise, I try to go to the gym every few days and drink a lot of water, and eat decent portions.
You can do what my friend does, where he wakes up at 6am to go running before he goes out to work until 5pm, and then goes to bed by 10 on weekdays. He does this daily, and then every week or so, he would actively work out and sleep in.

such spartan lifestyle. I wish i was half as disciplined. And hey you should break the fast and trade the coffee for an actual breakfast. It's good for the body

When I'm in college I go to the gym thrice or four times a week, from around 6 to 7 am.
I go that early cause most of my morning lectures start at 8.30, and I'm in class/studio all the way up until like, midnight.

Not gonna lie, if you are lazy, then just eat less.
People will tell you it's incredibly unhealthy to miss meals or skip breakfast (and moan about how your metabolism will somehow go crazy)... but in reality, if you eat less calories than you burn, you will lose body fat. It's pretty simple.

I'm probably the only one who does this but I do this
5-6 times a week, about 40 minutes each workout, and it changes up every week, for 30 days. It really helped me lose tons of weight, I'm only 15 pounds away from my goal. And the girl is amazing, she's really motivating that's why I really like her.

High metabolism coupled with not eating obviously terrible foods. I have a runner's build. I don't run at all. haha

I'm extremely lazy, I started going to the gym last year in September, didn't go anymore in October and then I ended my membership in January I think. I started doing sit-ups 3 times a day in January but I became lazy and stopped doing that after like 3 weeks. But I started doing a small work-out every day somewhere in the middle of May. I lift some weight every day 35 for each arm 2 times, do 30 sit-ups and 20 push-ups. That's it, lol and it really works for me, it's only like 8min work-out. After two weeks I already saw effects and it really works so I'm happy.
