There have already been massive improvements on the health care system, it's not that easy to just put our country in further debt, it has to gradually happen.
Personally, I like the way it is now because I don't have to wait 3 months to get an appointment like you do in some countries with free healthcare and it's not like we don't pay enough taxes to begin with.
If she's so passionate about it, she should take it a step further and attempt to communicate with the president directly, it's not like Obama is on Twitter himself right now looking at Nicki Minaj's timeline.
You've got some points. Personally, I think they need to once again cut some areas of Gov't spending but more importantly raise the tax rate on the upper tax brackets.
I wish the majority of the population knew how ****ed the healthcare system is in the United States. All of these uninsured people going to the E.R. for a ****ing headache and never paying the medical bill... That **** falls back on taxpayers anyway. In reality, there's no such thing is "free" healthcare.
And some people wouldn't understand, unless you had a friend or family member who died because they couldn't afford the necessary treatments needed to keep them alive.
So that our Doctors can be on strike because they make the same amount of money as teachers?
I don't think it should be free for everyone, only for people who can't really afford health insurance.
I think there should be a barebones universal healthcare system that anyone can do but with the option for more specialized healthcare for those who can afford it/wish to have it. Think of it like the difference between public and private school except more intricate. However, that would cause a lot of debate for people who pay taxes to a universal healthcare system that doesn't benefit them.

Yes because popstars just fell from the sky and have no knowledge about anything
