How did she drag him? the health care problem is a very complex political issue.. the last thing you need is pop star going in on him thinking she knows what she is talking about.

You sound just as ignorant as the fool that got banned did. Nicki knows that it'll take Obama at least another term in office for something to move into the right direction. When did she ever imply "fix it now?"You need to read her tweets before chiming in.

And I just can't at some of you thinking that Nicki actually believed she was going to carry on a conversation with Obama over twitter. What Nicki is doing, more than anything, is making an impression on her young, impressionable fans. Not only is she compelling her fans to educate themselves on the matter, but she's also trying to influence their decisions on who to vote for president this Novemeber. I can almost guarantee she's going to encourage all of her followers to go out and vote come election season.

I think Nicki's intentions are good... that's all that matters. I disagree with the hate she's getting just because she went about it a different way than you would have liked.

She spilled some true tea here... I kinda agree with her, thank god in France we have it. I understand why people doesn't want it, because it will increase their taxes and all, but think if one day, you get really sick, won't you be happy to not have to pay a huge bills...

That's not the point.
Of course she is right healthcare should be free but it isn't and so far we have to deal.
The way she tweeted: "Just make healthcare FREE for all" is just wrong.
It isn't that easy if it were then it would have been done.
Her stans have to stop acting like it could be done at the moment further if we assume Nicki knows politics well She has no way to know what a Obama knows because she can't.
I doubt Obama is a mean person that would deny free healthcare if it were possible.
So let's be real and admit what she says sounds nice but at the end that's all it is a pretty superficial statement.

...But its not in Obama's control

The current state of Obamacare is just a settlement between Obama, the House and the Senate, The majority of whom are Republican.

You know all of this healthcare situation is kind of questionable. I live in Portugal, and also have "Free Health Care" but, it never really is totally free. You'll always have to pay a percentage for your medication or the appointments. And of course you pay for it as well in your taxes. When you need something small, it is preferable to go to a private clinic, where you'll pay not that much more, and get immediate treatment, instead of waiting 12 hours in the hospital just to get to talk to a doctor.

Either ways, if you dont have a lot of health problems, it ends up not being very expensive. The problem is if you need something bigger like a surgery. There are waiting lists so big that you'd have to wait years to get the procedures. The people in difficult situations could develop serious problems while waiting for their surgery. If they chose, to go to a private health care institution they'd have much faster treatment.

What I think is, that even paying taxes for healthcare an entire life, your treatment and your health care are not assured in the best way. Wouldnt it be preferable to not have to pay taxes, and save the money, so that when the time comes and youll need something big, youll be able to afford it and choose a private clinic that will have the resources and take the time to take care of you? And if you have someone with constant medical need youd be able to pay for a health insurance and spend the same amount of money youd spend in the taxes, but have much better treatment in the private institutions.
